Latrobe cricket club - the family club! the latrobe cricket club, is a proud member of cricket north-west (formerly nwtca), australia, of tasmania, the premier turf cricket competition in the region. Many of our current most senior players began their involvement with latrobe cricket club at primary school and have in effect, "grown up" within the club. Our club places a strong emphasis on creating a family atmosphere where players, members and supporters enjoy one another's company while striving to produce the best possible on-field results. We also run a primary school roster and support two high school teams. We field a-grade, senior colts, a-reserve, junior colts (under-16) and under-14 teams in cricket north-west rosters. Latrobe cricket club provides a pathway from in2 cricket all the way through to senior adult competition. Our centre wicket is also very highly regarded. Latrobe cricket club boasts terrific training facilities, with outdoor turf and synthetic net and centre wickets, along with an indoor centre including a bowling machine. Located in the historic town of latrobe, latrobe cricket club is based at latrobe recreation ground, with entry off gilbert street (training facilities) and last street (club rooms). If you come down to the ground on a match-day you will see our next generation of latrobe cricketers on the sidelines having an impromptu game, all the while hoping they'll get their turn out in the middle some day.
